Grass-fed Lamb

We are strong proponents of raising our animals on pasture, and our sheeps' lives are no different!

We've been breeding Dorper sheep for the last few years now and love how they fit into our farm. Dorpers are great in the heat, have been shown to tolerate parasites better than other breeds, and of course, produce a delicious tasting meat. Unlike most sheep, Dorpers shed their fleece every year so shearing is a thing of the past! Our ewes and lambs (we think it's best for our lambs to be raised alongside their moms) spend most of their time out on pasture and are rotated regularly. We feel that all of these factors allows our sheep to have pretty stress-free, happy life.
