Lavender is one of our primary pursuits at Lamborn Mountain Farmstead. Lavender grows particularly well in the dry Colorado climate. Our high elevation, 6200 feet, makes for a high quality essential oil that we distill from the flowers. We use the oils in our products and sell it in small quantities for aroma therapeutic uses. Other products made from lavender include: goat milk soap, lotions, dried and fresh bouquets, sachets, natural bath powder, culinary lavender buds, lavender Earl Grey tea mix, herbs de Provence, and more. We sell at the farm, through local outlets and the Lavender Festival and Christmas Craft Fair put on by the Lavender Association of Wester Colorado of which we are a charter member.
You are welcome to come pick your own bouquets when we are in full bloom, usually in early to mid July.
